Journey to Self Love

February 11, 2023 @ 11:30 am 6:00 pm

 Ecstatic Dance

In essence, Ecstatic Dance is a moving meditation. The aim is to still the mind by moving the body- ultimately liberating our beingness from the woes and tensions of life. When we put our entire focus and attention into the way our body moves, our thoughts just naturally drift away. And that makes us feel calmer, more centered, less stressed and at peace.

There is nothing more important and vital to the human experience than love. Without it, the hollowness experienced consumes us and causes separation; not only from others, but from ourselves. It doesn’t matter if we’re in partnership or adventuring this world single- without loving ourselves, life lacks depth. As Valentine’s Day approaches, our love for others is on our minds, but the love for others is not the most important kind love.

Self-love is the foundation. Without self-love, any other love that we try to build will be unstable. Self-love is filling our own cups before we give to others. Once our own cups are overflowing, we can give freely from the saucer.

This ecstatic dance experience will open with a cacao ceremony, breathwork and self-love massage lead by Spencer Tribwell. Our DJ Luke Rain will take us on a 2 hour ecstatic dance experience that will open our hearts in this Journey to Self-Love. This dance is intended for those of all statuses and relations to experience an evening of cacao, breathwork, movement, connection, and community.

Don’t miss out on this magical evening as we’ll have vendors for cacao, kava, teas, plant medicine, and more!
